Fresh Fig and Arugula Salad with a Honey and Balsamic Dressing
Try something new with this Fresh Fig and Arugula Salad. Not only is it delicious, but very easy to throw together in minutes!

This is by far my favorite salad to date. I just didn’t know it until …. last week. Mike helps out on a farm a little down yonder and through the woods every once in awhile, and the other day he brought home fresh figs. Have you ever had a fig?
No, no. Not a Fig Newton. It’s ok. I said the same thing.
I was pleasantly surprised how sweet and delicious they were! Holy toledo I fell in love in two seconds!

So, of course, I HAD to find a recipe to use these beauties in, but I kept running into recipes with ingredients I have never heard of.
Screw it, I thought. I’m going to make my own!

This salad sounds amazing! The balsamic and figs sound they go perfectly, and I bet the argula added that extra bit of something. 🙂
