Looking for a healthy and yummy snack? Try this 3 ingredient fruit and yogurt parfait that is not only great for you, but super simple to make as well!

Happy Wednesday! You might have noticed that I have moved to a new day. My food posts will now be on Wednesdays, so make sure you mark your calendar! What is better than a mid-week pick me up recipe? Nothing! :)  My goal for the summer is to make light, healthy, and easy recipes to share with you. We are all busy during this time of year and want to spend a lot of our time outside, I know I do! Today’s 3 Ingredient Fruit and Yogurt Parfait recipe inspiration came from me wanting to make something for breakfast that didn’t include me frying bacon, making pancakes, or biscuits and gravy (or going to a fast food joint). While I love all of that food, during the hot summer months, I need food that isn’t heavy on my stomach. This parfait is perfect for breakfast and it is also great for snacking.

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt (any kind you like, any flavor)
  • Fruit (berries work well)
  • Granola

I decided to make a couple of different kinds using vanilla yogurt and raspberry yogurt. I added strawberries and black berries, but blueberries and raspberries work great too. Last, I used a plain granola … it was ok. I would prefer a little more sweetness! Next time, I will add honey or just buy a flavored granola.

Layering a parfait is super easy! I used pretty glasses to make it eye appealing, but really you could make it in anything. You could even make a large batch of this in a bowl and refrigerate it. First, add a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt.

Next, add a layer of fruit.

Then, add granola and more fruit.

Last, repeat the entire process. Yogurt, fruit, granola, and more fruit!

Sprinkle a little more granola on top for good measure :)

These look so great, I want to eat one right now! The parfait in the middle was made with raspberry yogurt and strawberries, while the two outside parfaits were made just like the recipe above.

See, you can make them any way you want!

I hope you find the time to make this quick and easy 3 Ingredient Fruit and Yogurt Parfait! You will make a healthy breakfast or snack for the entire family (or just yourself) in as little as 5 minutes! ENJOY!

 Keep Calm and Cook On,

Instagram post 2144015539319934467_182012641 A new app (for drawing and painting enthusiasts) called Adobe Fresco was just released, and I decided to give it a whirl. Let me just start off by saying that I'm a huge Procreate fan, but this app is absolutely amazing!! Its live watercolor brush feature is stunning. Anyways, long story short, I decided to do a 30 Day Challenge so I can learn this app inside and out.
