You can never go wrong with a neutral bathroom, can you? Neutral bathrooms have been in vogue for years, and they don’t seem to wain in popularity. Why? The color scheme makes even the smallest bathrooms look light, open and airy, and no matter what your style, a neutral bathroom seems to fit any design. If you want to do your bathroom in shades of neutral, it’s recommended that you stick to a color palette of whites, creams and grays, with minimal pops of color. Let’s look at some ways you can have a welcoming bathroom with neutrals.
Start with Neutral Tile
Tile is a great way to begin your design, and it lets you design around it. Here grey and white tiles have a lovely contrast that keeps the room looking light, while a white wall ties it all together.
Choose Eye-Catching Finishes and Accessories
This beautiful chandelier light, combined with the use of glass in the design, adds a great sleek modern look to this neutral bathroom and draws your eye to the center of the room, the tub.
Make it Comfortable
Neutral doesn’t have to be boring or dull or stark. This designer picked neutral shades that appear throughout the counters, cabinets, and shower curtains. Even the floor features white penny tile with subtle pops of greys.
Use Elements of Nature
The bathroom shown here is almost completely white, but the design isn’t cold thanks to the use of a window. Bringing in elements of nature, such as a window or even natural woods, although sparingly, will do wonders for your neutral scheme.
Don’t Be Afraid of Color
Don’t think that you can’t introduce color to your neutral bathroom. The pinks that are used here are very spare, and could be removed easily, but they work perfectly.
Coming soon… I’m going to show you what my husband and I will be doing with our Master Bathroom! I am so excited I can barely keep the secret in ;)
