I just realized that I haven’t shared my Fall Living Room with you! I know it’s already mid-November, but I figured it’s better late than never, right?

With that being said, sometimes less is more. I definitely kept this year more on the minimal side, but it still brings a whole lot of eye candy for those of us that love a lot of beautiful and natural fall goodness!

With that being said, my brain has literally been going a million miles per hour these last few months (due to so much change), and I’ve had a tendency to confuse or forget things altogether. At least, that’s what I’m going with and sticking to!

For instance, let’s talk about my “Mother of the Year” mug that I will not be receiving this year.

I swear that I read all of the Pre-K emails that Miss Ava’s teachers sent me, we read to her on a regular basis, and get her to and from class on time.

Meanwhile, I cannot remember (even when I write it in my calendar) the correct Pajama Day to save my life.

True story.

I believe Ava has had four of these “days” in the last year or so, and I’ve messed up three of them. Yea…. how horrible is that? In fact, just recently I told her a completely different day all together. Ughhh…

I’m hoping that it’s just a phase I’m going through, but I’m pretty sure my mom has been going through this kind of a phase since I was a teenager. It doesn’t look to promising for me to say the least!

Now, back to the main topic at hand. Isn’t this end table adorable? Mike originally made this bottom piece for a suitcase I wanted to use as a top, but then I realized that this little crate also fit perfectly on top it.

Then, I just filled it up with auction finds and delightful natural beauty.

Do you like going to auctions?

Trust me. I wasn’t a fan at first. It seemed a little out of my league, but now… it’s kind of exciting! Looking for new and wonderful vintage pieces of work, or even just getting items at a better price than you can anywhere else.

If you’ve never gone to an auction I highly encourage you to do so.

TIP: Find an auction house in a small town.
