Rustic and Girly Closet Curtain Rod
Even though my daughter Ava looks like my mini-me we rarely see eye-to-eye when it comes to decorating. She’s all like… I want pink hearts and glitter. Yay!!
And I’m all like…ohhh…yay.. let’s not…. !!
She wants to keep everything exactly how it has always been.
I would rather change everything in my house on a monthly basis if only I had the time.
She enjoys frills and princess dresses.
Whereas I will be ridiculously happy wearing my typical outfit of the day. Aka. a $5 Old Navy tank top with a my favorite pair of American Eagle Kick Boot Jeans (because they make my booty look so damn good).
I mean… can you believe her? She’s three years old, and thinks she knows it all. Wink ,wink, nudge, nudge. :)
I kid. Seriously though. Ava’s amazing, and I wouldn’t change anything about her for the world. I’m just trying to figure out where in the world she got this ATTITUDE from, and that crazy independence to try new things.
When it’s all said and done though, we usually can come to a happy medium. For instance, pink walls for her, and branches and reclaimed wood for me. Win-win. Thus, how the Rustic and Girly Closet Curtain Rod came about.
Just don’t look at the backside of her door. I lost on that one. Whoops! :\
