Best of 2014
Can you believe that yet another year has come and gone again? I swear it feels like 2014 was just beginning last week! However, with another year gone that means another wonderful and rejuvenating start for exciting new products and projects to come :)
Here’s a look at my top 10 blog posts for 2014 :
Our guest bathroom was less than ideal when we moved into our new home this year, so of course, we transformed it into a DIY Heaven! Everything from the rope curtain rod to the cabinet is handmade to give the perfect rustic-modern combination!
{Upcycled Lamp Shade Pendant Light}
This project took a lot of trial and error, but I am very pleased with the outcome. Follow this tutorial step by step to create your own unique lighting!
This is one of my favorite decorative projects from Fall! I loved finding a way to incorporate corn into this rake decor.
{Mason Jar Pendant Light}
I am beyond psyched about this DIY project that was also featured on Remodelaholic! By upcycling a bathroom vanity light strip, this rustic beauty was born. This was not the easiest light fixture to hang on our slanted ceiling, but I absolutely love the finished product.
{Reclaimed Window Inspiration Board}
All you need is a reclaimed window, chicken wire, staples and hangers to hang this beauty on the wall. Keep yourself inspired by hanging all of the pictures, quotes, cards, etc. that inspire YOU!
I had a lot of Fall inspiration this year since it is my favorite season! These wood pumpkins do not require any special skills and can be made in a variety of ways depending on the tools you have at home. They added the special touch I needed for my Fall Table Centerpiece!
{My New Studio: The Reveal}
Another wonderful aspect of buying our new home this year: I got a brand new studio!! As much as I love this studio, we need the extra bedroom for when we have guests. Stay tuned for some very exciting news!
{DIY Rustic Front Entrance}
By painting the front door and adding reclaimed wood decor, chairs, and shelves, I have managed to transform our front porch into the welcoming entrance I’ve always dreamed of having!
This centerpiece is super simple and I just love the rustic (I know, right?) natural aspects of all of the branches!
{Rustic and Industrial Bucket Light}
In this post, I show you how I used a vintage bucket (that I had been struggling to find the right home) to give my hallway lighting a rustic and industrial look. LOVE!
Thank you for coming along for the ride with me in 2014, I hope to share with you many new creations this year as well!
