Rustic Holiday Coffee Station Decor for Family Gatherings

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to add Christmas cheer to your home. Check out my holiday coffee station decor, and I’ll show you how!

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to another wonderful day!

Even though I’ve been working from home for a little over a year now (yay!) I still get excited about Fridays. There’s just something about the word.

Seriously. Maybe because it starts out with the sound “fry”.

You know, like french fries, fried chicken, fried ice cream.

Hungry yet? Yum… where did my healthy food days go?

Moving on.

I realized this holiday season that once again less is definitely more.

How did I come to this conclusion?
So, I was trying to balance on a eight foot tall (or more) ladder, and failing in a manner that I am actually quite embarrassed about. Can you believe that I had aspirations to be a CIA agent for yearsssss (like deep cover), and I can’t even walk in a straight line some days.

And that’s without alcohol?!?

Ok, so, I’m on this ladder, and my four year old daughter is reminding me to be careful while I’m getting upset that I can’t get my decor to look right.

Holiday Coffee Station Decor

This is about the same time I realize that I’m trying to do too much. I had nature, signs, random holiday figurines, and a bunch of other craziness.
First off, none of it really worked together.

Second, me forcing too much on one shelf was like me thinking I can still fit in a size 4.

Yea. I know! It’s not gonna work.
My best suggestion when you’re faced with a similar situation?

Take it all down, and only use the pieces that you absolutely love. Save the rest for a couple different spots, or for a different day when you’re feeling more rambucksious.
And that’s exactly how I tackled my holiday coffee station decor. I choose one “must use” piece. Aka. the wire JOY sign from Target, and then filled in with a little bit of nature.

Nothing too crazy, but just enough to get the job done.

Stay nice and toasty this weekend,
