Don't you just love a toasty sandwich? Today learn how to create a turkey club panini that is destined to be a new favorite and go-to meal!

Hello my hungry readers 🙂

As always, I hope this week is wonderful for you all! I know we all have those days (or weeks) where we don’t want to cook, don’t know what to cook, or just don’t have the time!

This isn’t necessarily a turkey club panini recipe but should be used more to provide inspiration to spice up your normal sandwich. Do you know when you go to a restaurant and get the most amazing paninis?

Well, you can make them right at home! Don’t have a panini press? Read on and I will tell you a few alternative ways to achieve the same delicious results without one.

Super Yummy Turkey Club Panini

Ingredients:

  • Turkey, Bacon, Chicken, Ham, Roast Beef, Steak (Or meatless; anything YOU like!)
  • Cheese, cheese, cheese (I find Pepperjack gives it a nice kick!)
  • Tomatos
  • Avocados
  • Mayonnaise (Or whatever “sauce” you prefer, but it needs some sauce)
  • Bread (It needs to hold up to being pressed)

When assembling a sandwich to go on a panini press or to be heated, I have learned a few tricks:

1.) put your “sauce” in between the meat and cheese

2.) if you stack it too high, everything squishes out everywhere

3.) avocados are slippery little suckers, so be prepared to re-arrange them a few times 🙂

Above is a picture of my panini press; one of the best kitchen gifts I have ever received! They are fairly inexpensive, but if you do not have one, here are some alternatives:

1.) Put your sandwich in one skillet and use another skillet to weigh it down

2.) Heat your sandwich in the oven; it doesn’t get pressed, but it is still warm and yummy!

3.) If you have a grill pan, it works the same as a panini press, you just need to weigh your sandwich down with something.

I hope I have inspired you to change up your ordinary sandwich and try something new this week! Enjoy!
