Long no see! :) Anybody else having a crazy month? The last two weeks have been especially nuts with not only fulfilling orders, but also ensuring that my own Christmas shopping list was complete. I’m not going to lie. There were definitely a few days that I thought I was losing my mind! It was however awesome to have a very consistent routine with creating orders, answering emails, packaging and also shipping everything out. I cannot emphasize how fantastic and truly awesome all of my amazing customers (repeat and new alike!) were to us this year!
Thank you again for making me happy. every. single. day. of. my. life. You guys rock!!
So, when things finally started calming down, and I needed to do something a little bit different I found myself looking for projects around the house. Lucky for me, I can always find about fourteen of them!
The first one that I immersed myself into was repainting and dolling up the master bedroom. I do believe I have painted the wall behind our bed four times in five months. No joke! I just wasn’t happy with the original color of cream, stripes weren’t cutting it, white was too plain and then finally I settled on a gorgeous navy blue. Sigh. It’s simply stunning.
Well, I have a lot of exciting DIY’s and all that good jazz to go along with the master bedroom remodel, but I’ll save that for another day! For now, I’m going to introduce you to your newest and bestest (sure, it’s a word!) way to cover up old pillows. It’s called a no sew burlap pillow.
First, find a few pillows. They can be old ones laying around your house, picked up from your local thrift shop or maybe even your mom will donate a few to your “cause”.
