The Great Outdoors: Looks for Less

This post does include some affiliate links, but they are for your convenience. I promise! Please click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I’m not even going to try lie because I know you feel the same way. So, here it goes.

Deep breath in, and out again….

I love a great deal. I do. I really and truly do!

I’m like a kid in the candy store. The only thing that’s different nowadays is that I’ve traded in my sour gummy worms for home decor.

Don’t get me wrong though. I still partake in the sweet and sour deliciousness every now and again. However, I usually just wait until my little mini-me, Miss Ava gets a bag, and like any good parent I make sure that they are acceptable for her dainty, little tummy ;)

Anyways, moving on.

As you are also (probably) well aware of I typically like to DIY a lot of my home decor. The “why” is pretty obvious. I just can’t see myself paying a small fortune when I can just paint or create it myself.

However, recently I’ve become very acquainted with a store that I am sad to say I had momentarily forgotten about. That store, my friends, is Kirklands.

I know, I know. I’m slapping my own hand! How could I even (if only momentarily) forget such a treasure?!

But in all seriousness, have you SEEN their prices lately? And their GORGEOUS products?!

For instance, their outdoor cushions are absolutely stunning! They come in a wide variety of colors at a fraction of the cost in most of the department stores.

But don’t just take my word for it! Stop by their site today, and check out some of my favorite Looks for Less in the outdoor decor section:

  • Clear Glass Lanterns
  • String Lights
  • Outdoor Dining Dinnerware
  • Moscow Mule Pitcher
  • Outdoor Curtains
  • Savannah Brown Wicker Set

Instagram post 2146880000859596640_182012641 I'm a little late for Day 3 of #30daysadobefresco but that's ok. Better late than never, right? ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #lzcathcart #thesummeryumbrella #doitfortheprocess #illustration #natureartist #ipadartist #createeveryday
Instagram post 2144015539319934467_182012641 A new app (for drawing and painting enthusiasts) called Adobe Fresco was just released, and I decided to give it a whirl. Let me just start off by saying that I'm a huge Procreate fan, but this app is absolutely amazing!! Its live watercolor brush feature is stunning. Anyways, long story short, I decided to do a 30 Day Challenge so I can learn this app inside and out. Instagram post 2116993434548946606_182012641 Well, hello fall! Who has their fall decor out?! I have to admit... mine's been out for a few weeks now. Since fall has always been my favorite season I try to get the most of out of it with my home decor! Bring on the gorgeous shades of pumpkin oranges, rusty reds, and sunset yellows. ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #falldecor #pumpkins #farmhousestyle #sunflower
Instagram post 2116439366310917528_182012641 Does this design look familiar? If you follow my blog you probably remember that I used it in black (for the tulips) on my fireplace mantle tutorial. Now, with this color scheme it looks fantastic as a bedspread!
