This DIY Decorative Orb is not only simple to make, but incredibly versatile for any room of your home.
Sometimes you just need an update or a switcher-roo.
Usually, it doesn’t even have to be something expensive or crazy. It could be a new paint color for an accent wall, moving your couch to the other side of the room, or even something small like creating a DIY decorative orb.
Originally I was going to make the “full” decorative orb with a few more circles to go around, but it just looked like too much for my purposes.
I wanted something that screamed modern, but at the same time also chimed in a little bit with that rustic appeal that I just adore.
Instead, I just used one 10″ Wood Embroidery Hoop set for each orb, hot glued them together where I would like them to be, and then spray painted them white.
Sooooo easy, right?!
You could even use these bad boys with candles, on a bookshelf, hanging from the ceiling as accents, or even around a lighting fixture to give it a little zazzy flare (Big Bang Theory anybody?).
I love that not only was this project super easy, but stylish, simple, and gave my coffee station just the update that I was looking for.
I hope you have a great week, and chat with you soon :)
