5 ingredient cheesecake

This week is dedicated to LOVE for people everywhere, so I am sharing with you a very simple 5 ingredient cheesecake recipe for you to make for that special someone in your life 🙂

Personally, I show people how much I care for them by making them food. There is nothing like hearing someone oohh and aahh over the food you made just for them!

This recipe defies the mystery and debunks the myth that cheesecake is hard to make. Plus, adding strawberries shaped like hearts makes it perfect for Valentine’s Day.

The BEST 5 Ingredient Cheesecake To Make Now!

Ingredients:

I am listing the name brands that I use because I have found the flavor of these particular products makes the best tasting cheesecake. You may notice that this pie crust says “2 extra servings”; I tried this one for the first time and it leaves more crust at the top, but that’s ok!

  • Keebler graham cracker pie crust
  • Philadelphia cream cheese (8 oz)
  • Daisy sour cream (8 oz)
  • 8 oz Eagle sweetened condensed milk (almost the entire can, but not quite)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Pinch of salt (ok, so I didn’t count this as an ingredient)

First, set your oven to 350 degrees; bake the pie crust by itself for 5 minutes and then let it cool down. Make sure all of your ingredients are room temperature, otherwise, they won’t mix properly. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, juice of 1/2 lemon, and a pinch of salt to a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix all of the ingredients until combined; there may be some tiny lumps, but you want it mostly smooth.

Pour the mixture into the pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You will be amazed at this simple, yet perfect cheesecake!

For the strawberries, I cut the tops on two angles to make a “heart” shape, sliced the strawberries in half and then placed them on top of the cheesecake.

Even if you don’t have a significant other, you could make this cheesecake for yourself and a friend, I promise you won’t have leftovers! Thought you couldn’t bake? Well, now you CAN!!!

Have a great week!
