You should have heard my mom on the other end of the phone when I told her what I wanted. She thought I was nuts. Maybe even drunk.

However, I was completely serious. I wanted a brand, spanking new multipurpose silverware drawer organizer AND new matching silverware.

Not to mention, I have to tell you. I was feeling pretty grown up when I opened up that shiny package on Christmas morning (yes mother, I did wait like you asked).

So, I smiled. I grinned. I ran to the silverware drawer and yanked it right open eager to show off the new digs that I would be bestowing upon it very soon.

Ohhhh… if drawers could talk.
